before we left the hospital, we "roomed-in" for a night. basically, this is your chance to be with your baby without the nurses right there! the rooms are right off of the NICU, so if you need anything, your nurse is right there. it was a great first night!!! little garron did great, sleeping & eating & pottying!

with momma in my take-me-home outfit that my mamaw got for me!

with my daddy in my special outfit. this blanket that i have on is the blanket that mamaw & papaw brought my mommy home from the hospital in!

in my carseat- ready to go home!!!

i fit in here just right!

this is nurse lori putting me in the car! i love nurse lori ALOT- she has been there the whole time! she was there the first time my momma got to hold me, she was there for the first water bath, and now she is there for my first ride in the car! thank you nurse lori for taking SUCH great care of me! i hope we stay friends for a long time!

proud & HAPPY momma & daddy ready to take their boy home after 45 days in the NICU. what a SPECIAL & overwhelming day. a day of great thanks. this is the end of one story and the beginning of another. a beginning of a life that came early by our calendar, but in the perfect time none-the-less. a life of a very small, but very strong boy who is loved more than words can express. we are so happy that you are healthy garron, and ready to start our life together at your new home! thank you to dr. sutter & the WONDERFUL nurses that took care of you. our hearts will forever be thankful to all of you.
That's really neat about the blanket. Congrats on going home!! Woo hoo!!
