justin & i spent most of the week sitting with garron. we could touch him with firm, even pressure. it was amazing how his heartrate would go down a little when we would touch him. that was really neat- we knew he knew us already! we also spent time reading to him (well, mostly justin reading because when i would try, it would make me cry!) we would also tell him what we had been doing, about patch & zoomer, about our house and his room, etc. talking to him & being able to touch him was really comforting.Monday, August 31, 2009

Wow, he's tiny. Thanks so much for letting us take a peek. We'll be praying for little Garron to grow big and strong and go home soon. Please call if there's anything at all you need. Really. Congratulations, Garron - you picked a good pair of parents...except for that whole Latin thing. Maybe Dad will wait a few years before he starts up on that : )
