on thursday, august 13, 2009 justin & i went for an unscheduled sonogram because i felt that something was not right. this was true. garron had an abnormally small abdomen. everything had been fine at the 21 week ultrasound. because of this, they knew to look at the umbilical cord. they fould that the pressure inside the placenta was so high that the blood flow was getting to garron, but he was having a hard time getting it from his body back into the placenta. this had caused him to have a growth restriction. this also caused justin & i to be admitted to the hospital for bedrest. we were going to try to stay for at least 3 weeks which would take garron from 29 weeks to 32 weeks. but garron had other plans...
